Foliage to static meshes with physics?

Hi, I need a heap of randomly placed objects fall and crash onto the floor. Foliage would be great for initial placement, but how can I turn that into static meshes with Physics simulation? I understand I need to convert the foliage brush into instanced actors but I can’t seem to do it.

I’m not a game dev, I use UE4 for video.
