Foliage Imposter Issue

Static mesh tree Baked by plugin ‘Impostor Baker’ is blinking. I made it while watching the video, but I don’t know why.

I had something similar happen when I was playing around with the ImpostorBaker routines - I don’t know if it’s the same problem, but for me it happens when the captured data overlaps the edges of the frame (it’s actually the depth map causing it for me).

You can try a couple of things - in the Generate_ImposterSprites Blueprint, you can try unticking the “Use Distance Field Alpha” - that then produces a sharp mask that should then avoid the edges.

Also, in the created MaterialInstance - you can untick “Interpolate Ray Position” - that may help too.
