Foliage Going Invisible When Painting (?)

Anyone experience this? I’m not sure if it’s because of the new update, but no matter what I do on my new terrain I cannot see foliage that I paint. I can see it briefly before the cluster disappears, sometimes leaving just one piece of foliage. Painting over it will just make it disappear again. The foliage pop in and out when sculpting a part of the terrain where I’ve painted, but always go back to invisible when the sculpting is done. Any help? Thanks
