Foliage double faced LOD not working?

I did grass with double side faces like in some tutorials to avoid two sides materials, in 4.25 all works ok, LOD coloration works fine, but in 4.27 only works if i place meshes manually, if i use foliage tool all looks grey. But in Lit mode LODs seems to work… since i see them change with distance…

I think the vizualization modes have been broken for a long time. HISMs haven’t worked here for at least a couple of engine versions…

looks like persistancefadeamount + dither AA dont work with double faces foliage? If i remove both from shader all works ok.
