Foliage comes out flat and stretched

Hi guys, not sure if this is the place toi ask, but i’ve been having this issue with foliage mode. When I paint the foliage, it comes out all flat and stretched, and this is with every foliage i’ve tried. Now it works perfectly in the default third person map when i was practicing, but it’s been happening in my own custom map. i’ve tried enabling/disabling nanites, no difference. both maps are part of the same project. I’ve included a pic to show the comparison. any ideas? i’ve got a feeling this is some kind of simple fix, but i’m stuck. only been using ue5 for a couple of weeks. I was talking to someone else and they suggested try disabling world position offset, but that didn’t make a difference.

Hi, have you changed the Scaling here?

I’ll give that go when I get home. Is there a particular setting I should try?

I guess Free may get it stretched due to your settings :face_with_peeking_eye:
Uniform gets same XY and Z scales.

I’ll let you know how it goes

No difference, unfortunately

Same Issue here, it usually fixes itself after a while, but I have no idea what causes it..

Kinda hard to see but very noticeable when in game, and when it’s stretching through objects.
As you can see, the spawn point is basically square.

Anyone got a solution?

Edit: After some more testing I found out it happens when the pcg volume isn’t square.

Found a solution. Change the Z scale of the PCG Volume to 0 then, ctrl+z and it fixes it, lol..
