Foliage brush not creating collisions

So I’m using speedtree to add some foliage into my scene, and I’ve successfully added my meshes into the scene without issue. I can place individual trees in the scene and there are no issues, but when I use the foliage brush to paint them onto the landscape they don’t have any collisions. Is this by default? Is there a way to get the brush to spawn in the collisions in the instances that I’ve already created?

By default the collision settings are set to no collision for foliage meshes.

You can change this by going into the Show Instance Settings and look for Collisions and set it appropriately for your needs.
