Fog in UEFN

Hi Team,

Does anyone know how I can maintain the fog effect using the Day Sequence Device - Trigger Volume when I disable the all-time-of-day manager, which means turning off all the lights in the map?


You can place an exponential height fog , you can also animate the fog through sequencer if you’d like. I usually disable the time of day manager and place an environment light rig which has everything you need for lighting including fog

Maybe can try adjusting the day sequence manager’s lighting rather than just outright disabling it. Or you could have perhaps two different day sequence devices, one with the normal settings (fog + lighting), one with the changed settings of like fog + a lower light intensity. Then you could animate their scale to cover the player’s area (while shrinking/hiding the other one) based on a trigger?

Just some ideas, I’ve just barely gotten into Day Sequence device settings myself.
