Fly-through video and animation

I’m currently evaluating RealityCapture against other software and very impressed - but struggling to work out how to create a flythrough video. Couple of questions:

  1. How do I select the points between which the camera ‘flies’?

  2. Can I choose points which are away from the point where the camera took the picture? I would like to be able to precisely fly a route through a wooded path, for example. 

I notice the last discussion on this was two years ago and an animation plugin/solution was mentioned so I am really hoping there is an easy answer - this is critical for my clients and business.

As far as I am aware there is still no way to define the camera path.
