Flower Pot Modelling with Geometry Script

Hi*, I want to share this tool I made with Geometry Script for procedurally modelling flower pots. You can take a look at it here on Youtube Procedural Flower Pot Modelling Tool - Geometry Script in Unreal Engine 5.1 - YouTube . You can also visit this blog post where I explain further. Thanks for your time, and any feedback is very welcome.

And he does it again! This is really remarkable! Instead of downloading and installing a bunch of assets, you can use the Flower Pot Modelling tool to create unique pots of your own - once again opening the doors of creativity limited only by the imagination of the user. It’s also really impressive that you’ve included the options to enable collision and control poly counts, offering even more versatility. I guess adding plant meshes are a bit of a challenge? In what way would you suggest a way around this?

I see that you’re inquisitive by nature and have dedicated a considerable amount of time to understanding the Unreal Engine and figuring out ways to streamline workflows as you’re on your pathway of discovery. This is admirable and I offer encouragement to continue growing and learning. I look forward to your upcoming cinematic and thanks so much for sharing your works with us!

If you could take UE 5.1 and create anything of your heart’s desire without having to study how to implement it, what would it be?

Thank you so much @Get_DOVAH_it For taking the time. I really appreciate it. I do not think I could have consistently improved in UE without this forum. I want Unreal’s Geometry script to get better, I think as you mentioned it can be extremely useful and powerful for developing your own assets library. I also started to learn Houdini for making HDAs for Unreal, which makes proceduralism a lot easier. For example copying, the plant meshes to a dynamic mesh are significantly better. I think the one thing I want to use Unreal for is to imagine and build alternative digital space, beyond the scope of the world we currently experience for example open world games.
