Floating Animation Problem

Hello,
first I have to say that i’m using a character exported with the basic mixamo skeleton, i retargeted the default idle/run animations with no problems.
I did the same with other mixamo animations still no problem.

Now if I press SHIFT my character switch from running to crouch walk/idle but my character is now floating. Both crouch walk and crouch idle are from mixamo.

Any advice?

You can export the animation and import it again with minus translation in the z (or whatever the up axis was).

I have the same problem and when I import the animation with a different rotation it’s working, but changing the translation doesn’t do anything ! My animation is still floating above the ground.

Since I just ran into the same problem. The solution with the re-import only worked for me when I deleted or renamed the existing animation, and then re-imported the new one to a completely fresh file.
If I’d just overwrite/replace the existing animation the new “import translation” would not be applied. Hope this is a time saver for someone! :slight_smile:
