Hey guys. I try to import a rbd sim from houdini to unreal. Its basically a wall collapsing. Everything works fine in houdini. The normals face the right direction and uv´s work as well.
I export the whole sim with a rop alembic output. If I reimport the file into Houdini everything looks fine as well.
As soon as I import the abc file into unreal the normals look weirdly flipped as seen in the picture. To make the material “two sided” doesnt work as well.
I dont know how to fix this. Maybe you guys can help. Thank you

Have you tried changing the Normal Import Method of your mesh to Import Normals and Tangents? You can find it under the Import Settings of your mesh. By default, Unreal computes the normals, so that might be causing the issue.
