Flip World and work on it

Hello Everyone,

I struggle to find a solution for this Problem. I have a normal World were a Camera Follows People. Then the Camera moves lower and rotats 180 degres. Moves through the Ground and on the other Side of the Ground should be a Level/World flipped.

Now my Problem is how do I work upside down on the Level oder do I Create it first and Flip it afterwards… but then its still really annoing to work on. And how do I flip a hole Level. Grouping is weird

I managed to flip my Viewport Camera with the Orbit. So it basicly looks like a normal (not flipped) level. The Problem now is the Mouse Rotation is obvisouly inverted. I tried every invert Mouse option in the Editor Preferences and nothing changes that Invert.

Any Ideas on how to tackle this Situation?

Greetings

Yes. Work on the ‘under’ level the normal way up. When you ready to load it, just use

I think you can load it rotated by 180. Try it with a simple level first

Mouse rotation will still be a problem, probably, also player movement, I’m assuming…

Thanks for the suggestion. The thing is I just want to render it. So its no Game. It might be a bit complicated to Align everything.

Or do I put it into the Level Blueprint and after I load it via multiple Levels. It will Load the Level like you said… I gotta try. Thank you^^

Well I dont get how to implement it… Gotta learn more about Blueprints I guess. Cause I thought the Blueprint will only be Ingame and not in the Editor

That’s right, in game.

Don’t try it if it’s not for a game. You can all sorts of problems with rendering if stuff is upside down. Lighting goes all wrong etc…

mhmmm ok so its for Rendering a movie/film. Would you then recommend to do it for Compositing? And then just flip the Camera path?

I would recommend having everything up the right way for compositing, or any artful endeavour
