This is my first post, so please excuse me if it’s not well-structured.
Recently, I’ve been noticing that, for no apparent reason, the texture normal flips on some objects. I’ve even noticed it within the object itself, which I can’t explain.
My workflow is quite simple: I create the models in Blender, create a cube projection with the same pixel density, and send it to Unreal Engine. Nothing complicated.
I’ve checked that they don’t have inverted normals, the scales, and the direction of the vectors, and I’m not sure what could be happening.
I’ve attached several images so you can see how the direction of the normal changes.
