Having an issue with a flickering texture in my scene (See video).
I’ve got a feeling it’s related to normals as when I turn down the normal intensity the flickering stops. Could this be down to the model being a flat plane that I used geometry nodes in blender to get the wood planks? Any help appreciated.
Your setup looks good, the flickering effect could be caused by a combination of different factors. Please check your nanite settings to make sure that the effect is not overworking your geo, as it has a low poly count from base. Nanite is usually applied for improving performance on assets with massive geo counts. You can find additional info here.
Alternative, since your asset is a simple composition of wood planks, we could test an alternative setup without nanite, using LOD groups to control how much geometry to show from your scene distance. More info on LODs can be found here.
One more factor to consider is your lighting setup. Are you using the default light setup from your city scene? Have you manually added more sources? By default, Lumen is taking care of your lights. You can find further data on its features here.
Additionally, please make sure that your UV islands have a bit more distance between them, as overlapping edges will cause baking errors and other abnormalities when implementing textures/materials.
