Flawed character

Hi everyone, I would like you to help me with a problem, when I import my character from CC4 (character creator 4) into Unreal and put it in the third person character, it becomes defective (it becomes a hunchback or has no neck, in other words, as there were no bones in some parts) if you could help me with this part I would appreciate it

Hello, it’s almost certainly a bone hierarchy issue.

Is it using its original skeleton or Unreal’s? It looks like you retargeted it.

I don’t know, I simply imported it from cc4 to Unreal,I saw a video on YouTube on how to switch to Unreal, but on his it was good and on mine it was like this in the photo.

  1. Open up your character’s SKELETAL MESH:

  1. Count the amount of SPINE BONES:

Compare this number to the original mesh you created. I suspect you don’t have enough of those bones, and so the hierarchy is mismatched.
