You would need eye adaption to address that. In reality it would really be that much brighter, but your eyes or camera would adjust the exposure down.
You could also turn off inverse square falloff and use some custom falloff but that will make it feel a lot less realistic so I wouldn’t suggest it.
btw, subtle edge detail on those rails looks great.
