When ever I start a new project their are flashing colors on the middle screen (not sure if that has a name). All I can see are the colors and a faint outline of the game. No matter what mode I’m in whether it’s game, preview, or edit mode. Hope someone can help and thank you in advance
Hi ,
Does this only happen in one project or have you been able to reproduce this in a clean project with the default level?
Thank you!
this happens every no matter what kind of level I use. I’ve tried almost all level types each time I had the same result.
Hi ,
Can you send me your dxdiag and perhaps a screenshot of what is going on so we can better assess the situation? Are you on a Mac OS or WIndows?
You can see some of the colors that are flashing on my screen in these pictures. Also I use a Mac OS. I’m not entirely sure what a dxdiag is. Sorry I’m not terribly good at computer things like that.
Hi ,
To get your computer information, go to the apple icon and press “about this Mac” and hit the “More Info” button. Tell us your operating system, your CPU, RAM, Graphics Card, and anything else which may be of importance. Specifically I would like to know what version of the Mac OS are you using? Thank you!
Version: 10.9.2
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Hope this helps!
Hi ,
What kind of graphics card is in your computer, also is it a tower or a laptop?
tower and my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB
Hello there?
have you figured anything out?
Hi ,
Unfortunately we have not found anything yet This has been a very curious issue and we are still attempting to look into it.
Your Radeon is below editor’s minimum requirements (it only supports OpenGL 3.3), I’m afraid. We added automatic disabling of some features for GL 3.3 cards in UE4 4.1, so this should help, but in a meantime you could try disabling Tonemapper in viewport’s Show->Post Processing menu and see if that helps.
