FK/ IK Switch resetting character mesh

Hey everyone,

I have set up a very basic IK and FK system and tied them together with a control system. The hide control system works as intended with one issue, when I switch between IK/FK or vice versa my character goes into a different pose. Better way to explain it is if I manipulate the IK rig and switch to the FK the character goes into a T pose. If I swap back to IK my character goes back to the IK pose I made. This works vice versa, is there a way to update the rig so my IK/FK controls recognize the edits made by the other?

Note: I will state that while setting up the basic IK that the character poses are not identical. With the primary and secondary axis nodes on basic IK I was able to get them very close but not identical. Character was uploaded from Mixamo.
