[Fixed] Texture is appearing darker than it's supposed to be

//
But in unreal the texture appears as such:

But I cannot seem to figure out why?
I have tried disabled SRGB. This made it worse.

EDIT:
I solved it by enabling “recalculate normals” in the model options.

Can you show the texture preview in the content browser?

Also, what does the plane look like with just the white ‘basic shape material’ on it?

Here’s it with the default material:

Here’s it in the content browser:

Assuming you haven’t done anything crazy with the lighting, I’m assuming the normals are mostly inverted.

Have you checked that?

How do I check that?

Sorry, I’m very new to unreal. This is my first time using it.

You check it in Blender

I corrected the normals, but this did not fix the problem.

I wonder if you could upload the FBX and texture here? You can PM them to me if you like…

New users cannot upload attachments. If I PM you would that allow me to send you the FBX and texture?

It might.

(Also how do I PM, sorry I’m very new to this)

Click here ( on my icon, naturally  )

I don’t see it for me. It’s probably because my account is new. I will upload the blender model to CGTrader for you to access.
