Fixed Camera Perspective inspired by old Resident Evil games!

Been wanting to do this for so long! Here’s my first test with Fixed Camera perspectives.

This effect was really easy to achieve, by simply triggering different Cinematic Sequences depending on the position of the player.
Currently since Cinematic Sequences can’t be looped, I had to make each sequence about 1000 frames, but hopefully this option comes soon enough to make this easier!

Thought about this too, but didnt do because I know we cant change player controls, thus it won’t be a great player experience (getting inverted controls or being stuck between cameras without knowing what is forward).

Looking good though!

Super cool cinematic! Love the ambiance and I really love how smooth it all was! Was it difficult to navigate when you were playing with that perspective?

Yesss it’s gonna be fun!!

Thank you so much G! And yes lol, it was a little bit, but I’m sure it can be better using different perspectives!

Also welcome!!

Ah, I see! Such a cool function, I can imagine this could be used to lead a player through a story progressively and that is SO freakin cool! Amazing job, and thank you for the welcome

Excited for you guys to play with UEFN!

I was waiting for someone to do this
Could you use the new “Loop Playback” option to keep the camera there until you stop it?

Oh it’s been something I’ve been wanting since day 1! I have not tried yet with the new updated sequencer! But I am sure it will work, giving it a try this weekend!

@Rynex_FNC, question, did you use any custom assets for this prototype? or is this all stock FN assets? We’re having a casual conversation internally about looks and how you can make FN assets look different.
