Hello! i have a problem so i am making a video game and i have added movement and now i have tried to add some first person arms to my game as a skeletal mesh and now whenever i move the arms just move Infront of the camera or when I

jump it goes up, the blueprint for the sprinting and walking will be below if i need to add anymore screenshots please let me know, I’m new to unreal this is my first game, so please let me know if i should right this forum better, thank you!

Hey there @Stale_bathtub483! Welcome to the community! From what I can tell, this is a mostly standard setup for a character aside from the camera shake and replication. What do you mean by “The arms just move in front of the camera”?

If the Skeletal mesh attached under the capsule is your arms, they shouldn’t move independent of the capsule unless they have Root Motion on the animation. If the arms are leaving the capsule (running forward) you may need to disable root motion for the animations.

thank you since then i have changes some things around , this phot is how my chracter is set up please let me know if there is a better way to do this so no cliping can happen.

Just so I understand your issue a bit better, are you trying to hide your entire player mesh from it’s own camera, or are you just trying to hide specific bones (such as the arms or head)?

so thank you for trying to help, but i have changed it and am now making just the arms for it thank you tho
