First "Launch" on android taking forever

Hello everyone, i’ve been following the android quick start guide and i’m on the point of launching the 3rd person template on to my android device (Razer Phone 2) I was just curious if it is normal for it to take as long as it has. It has been sitting on the “Deploying Executables and Assets” for probably an hour now. Is there anyway to speed this up, or is this just how the first launch on it goes when building a game? Also any hints, tips, or tricks on speeding this process up that anyone has i’d love to hear them, but please make them specific if you can as I am still pretty new to game development and UE. Thank you to all who reply.

My Hardware:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2400g
GPU: R9 480 4 gb
Mem: 16gb 3200mhz Gskill

I don’t think it is a hardware issue but i’m not sure, i figured i shouldn’t have a problem with it, runs better than my old laptop anway. Thank you again :slight_smile:
