First experience with RS! Problem with my exported .GLB - SOLVED

Hello everyone!
Sorry for this newbie question! This is my first experience with RS.

See the screenshots, my object look like alright to me on RS, nice and aligned. But when I export it (glb), the result as a problem.
I done the export by Export tab, “Model and Point Cloud”.
What am I missing?

Thanks in advance

Hi Julien,
do you mean the rotation of the model? If so, some formats are their rotations after export. You can change the rotations to the wanted one in the export settings.

Thanks Ortrhan. Yes, the exported model rotation (or “central point” - I don’t know the exact term, I’m newbie) is very different that the mesh model on my RS screen (my first screenshot). As this is my first experience I kept everything set by default, even in the export tab.

Maybe, can we set a/our “default view” on the model and export it with this setting?
I find strange that the model looks great on my RS screen, but not after export. I guess I’m missing just one click somewhere.

You can export the setting with the wanted rotation applied and then use that setting in your next projects.

Yes I saw this panel, but I wasn’t thinking it was relevant (because my mesh was looking fine), or even how I should setup this panel.
Luckily I found this setup on YouTube and it fixed my issue.

I looked at the Help tab “scene transfo” but still the information wasn’t enough relevant to me.

Thanks Otrhan
If you have any recommendations for newbie like I (apart from “just give a try”) I take them!

For a newbie there is a lot of tutorial on our YouTube channel. Also, you can find usable articles in the Learning section of EDC.
