Hello, i am very close to finishing my first Android game and i started looking into monetization, and i was surprised by the lack of information out there regarding this.
I was only able to find a handful of articles and videos about it and most of them were very vague and not really informative, so i’ve compiled a list of questions that i’d like to know moving forward with my project.
People that have published projects on Play Store or Apple Store, or experienced in this area if you could spare a few minutes of your time would be a great help not only to me but others beginners looking for this kind of information.

Creating an in-game cash shop for Virtual currency or items.
Seems that all i could find is the Xsolla plugin that seems to do the trick, but i am wondering if there are other alternatives and if yes, what are they? -
In-game ads
Seems that there’s some build in functionality to show ad banners, but most information i found was about installing the admob plugin.
Is there a preferred way? what are the pros and the cons?
2a) Assuming we’re going with the admob method, and all the banners are in place and awaiting to be triggered, where are the ads are coming from?
Does google play store run random ads in my game?
Do i need to go out there and find people willing to advertise in my game?
How does this work exactly?
2b) How does payment work with in-game ads?

Publishing to play store
There seems to be a barrier of 100mb for projects, does this mean that a game over that size is not gonna be able to be released? Does it need to be split up into parts? Needs to be packaged differently? -
Patching and updating post release
How does adding new content or fixing bugs work with a published game?
I am sure there are a lot more things that i am oblivious about this process but that’s all i could think of and couldn’t find satisfying answers.
