Firewalls and Network Security Causing Connectivity Issues on My Intel Evo Laptop

Hello everyone,

I am facing connectivity issues with my Intel Evo [https://www.lenovo.com/sg/en/faqs/intel-evo] laptop while using it on my work network. Our company’s IT department has installed Fortinet firewalls and network security protocols on the network to ensure data security. However, I have noticed that my laptop is experiencing connectivity issues since the installation of these security protocols.

My laptop is running on the latest version of Windows 10 and is updated with the latest drivers. I have checked the network settings on my laptop and they seem to be configured correctly. However, when I try to connect to the internet, the connection drops frequently, making it difficult to work efficiently.

I have contacted our IT department, and they have assured me that the issue is not related to the network. They suggested that the problem may be with my laptop’s configuration, but I have checked everything and cannot find any issues. Therefore, I suspect that the Fortinet firewalls and network security protocols are causing the connectivity issues.

Has anyone else faced similar issues with Fortinet firewalls and network security protocols? If yes, how did you resolve them? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for a solution to this problem as it is affecting my work productivity.

Thank you in advance for your help.
