Finger recognition problem

Hi, I’m creating an application that will use a touch screen and run on Windows. It will be an application for a museum where you can, for example, see some of their scanned artefacts, turn around them and so on.

For development I don’t have a native touch screen, I’m using Spacedesk software which allows me to use an Android tablet as a touch screen. It works very well and Windows recognises the tablet as a third screen.

The problem is that, in Unreal 5.2, when I press quickly and randomly on the screen, Unreal ends up giving me the wrong finger index: in the image below I have two fingers on the screen and the second finger is recognised as “touch 4” instead of “touch 2”. And if I continue, the first finger will change to “touch” 2 and the second to “touch 5” and so on. Obviously this makes the pawn unusable very quickly.

I have no idea where this is coming from. I don’t know if it’s to do with Spacedesk, or if the problem is with Windows or Unreal. I’ve done a test on another PC (also with Spacedesk) and in empty projects and it’s the same result. I’ve been searching for several days and can’t find anything.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Do you have any idea where it might be coming from?

Ok, for those of you who have a similar problem in the future, I’ve found a solution! The problem is indeed with Spacedesk. I’ve replaced it with Google Chrome Remote Desktop and the bug no longer appears.
