Finding Metahuman Identity in Unreal Engine 5.4.4

Hello. I am trying to build my own Metahuman starting from a scan in Polycam. I optimized in Blender and imported in Unreal as .fbx. All good until here. Installed Metahumans plugin and restarted Unreal. In Unreal 5.5.4 I got to the point of thinking I could not use the plugin. So I went back to 5.4.4 but I still can’t find the “Metahuman Identity” option in Add in the Content panel, which is necessary to link my static mesh and material to a Metahuman and go on.

Any idea why I might not be able to integrate “Metahuman Identity” or how to work around this? Thank you.

Hey i’m in the same predicament - did you ever find an answer? I’m scouring everywhere. I was thinking perhaps Identity Kit is only available in a certain version of UE, and the maybe you have to have the matching Metahuman Plugin version? I still haven’t got it and it’s infuriating. Let me know if you had any luckj.

Hi there, I’ve found the solution. In my case the problem was that I’ve installed the new version of the engine, MetaHumans for it, but did not install MetaHuman Plugin, which is the separate plugin in the Bridge. After the one been installed, additional checkbox in Plugins menu in Engine been checked, and Engine restarted, the MetaHuman Identity and other stuff appeared in the “Add” menu.
