I found a game on steam that was made in Unreal Engine and I really liked the soundtrack in it and when I went into the files to look for it (hoping to find a mp3 audio file) but they were all uasset. I did some research and I could not find a way to open them to see the files inside. When I copied the uasset file in to a blank game template and tried to run the file if crashed. (Here is the video I saw that showed me how to import the files to the saved files How To Load UASSET file in Unreal Engine 4 - YouTube) I’m not sure if there is a way to get the original files or not but I would appreciate the time some of you will take to help me.
When a game is cooked the assets are packaged and they can only be used in-game. Note that discussion on how to rip assets out of games is not allowed here, it can be against the user agreement for the game.
Ok, thanks for the help
