File Size for Fab Store Listings

One obvious thing that I don’t see in the Fab listings is the download size. Other asset stores show this and it should be a part of the metadata, probably in the “Technical Details” section.

It would be nice to know before downloading that an asset “oh that looks small, couldn’t be more than 200 megabytes” is 9.6 GB.

Indeed that would be useful :+1:

It would be very useful to have functionality that Unity Store has had for years.
Seeing the size, number of files, file tree, preview window is extremely helpful.
While file size & number are the easiest to implement, I think file tree is the most useful one. You can ensure the naming convention is preserved. You can understand much better what the asset does and what content it has. Often the file tree is much more informative than the main asset description itself.

Totally agree. I use that file tree view often to get a better idea of what’s included in a Unity asset.
