[1]-Recently i played many games from the New & Updated category and i found out that many games are copy paste one by one from the same or different accounts.
-The problem is that these guys/scammers abuse the system and taking spots from many legit creators that trying to get in this category to promote their games.
[2]-So i thought of something that can prevent this from happening.
[3]-First we need to have Verified creators and non verified creators.
-But before i talk more for the Verified creators lets talk also what else need to happen in the New & Updated category.
[4]-You need to add a second New & Updated category in discovery.
-This second New & Updated category will be 3 to 4 rows below the already existing one.
[5]-So why 2 categories of New & Updated and how it will work?
[6]-I talked before for Verified and non Verified Creators.
-So this is how it will work.
[7]-Verified Creators when they release a new game or they make a new update on their games.. they will get on the First New & Updated category in discovery.
[8]-The non Verified creators when they release a new game or they make an update on their games.. they will get on the Second New & Updated category in discovery.
[9]-What this will do?
[10]-This will prevent the scammers and the spammers that copy pasting non stop the same games over and over.. from abusing the system and taking the spots from legit creators that actually deserve to get in the category.
[11]-Ofc they will still abuse the second New & Updated category but cause this category will be 3-4 rows below the First New & Updated category they will not be able to see very high numbers so then as a resault to trigger the algorithm to promote them easier to more categories in discovery( so with a few words you will need to actully have a good game in the second New & Updated to hit high numbers and get promoted further ).
[12]-Now how a creator will get Verified. This can be done with many ways.. but i will say some of my thoughts.

- You will need to have More than 250.000 total plays with your games.

- You will need to be in the Creator Program for more than 90 days.

- You will need to have atleast one official social media account linked.

- And a minimum of 500 or 1.000 Favorites on the Fortnite/Discovery platform.
[13]-Also something i forgot to mention is that the:
-Verified Creators will have the ability to publish 8 to 10 games per month.
-And the non Verified Creators will have the ability to publish only 2 games per month.
[14]-I belive thats all. I belive if you do this you will actually improve the New & Updated in Discovery alot!
