Featured missing that would be simple to implement

This feedback comes after a discussion we had yesterday on discord about why we use or do not use certain games launchers.

The main two issues regarding the epic games launcher was that there is no tag system you can filter for and find games you might be interested in.

But even more agreed on that the possibility to wishlist and ignore certain titles is something that makes the store nearly unusable. People did not want to get spammed on the login page with games they are not interested, already own on a different platform or will simply never play. As a positive effect that would also be data that epic games could use to provide analytics to developers so they can see in real time when and how their game was white or blacklisted from players and get more data in term of what features and changes players really looking for.

Hi Zengu,

Thanks for contacting support. I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback about the Epic Games launcher. I would like to share this feedback internally with our team, but I do have a follow-up question for you regarding this, so your feedback is crystal clear to our team.

I understand your second piece of feedback about having the ability to ignore specific titles that you may not be interested in. However, for the first piece of feedback about the tagging system with filters, could you explain that in more detail?

Product pages can be tagged with specific genres and features - is this related to that or something else?

Once I have a better understanding of your feedback, I’ll submit it internally. Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us.
