We want to make complex UI games in UEFN, but there is always the issue of consoles and how the direction of buttons is only allowed to happen in cardinal directions, limiting and sometimes even locking players in button positions where they cant navigate to what they want.
On the other hand, PC has mouse, mobile has touch, so they are both not affected.
It would be cool to have a setting to enable cursor mode when inside UI so that consoles are no longer locked in pressing buttons. So like Steam deck essentially, if you move thumbsticks then you see cursor, if you move directional pad you highlight buttons normally. That would help solve so many issues (like the video below where the buttons are diagonal and hard to navigate on console).
