We’re mainly doing high quality automotive renderings with the Pathtracer in 6k or higher. There are many cases where we have to check if certain meshes/materials cause noise in our renderings. In that case it would be a huge benefit to just render out certain regions of the image to get some quicker feedback than having to render the whole image. In other render engines this feature is called something like ‘interactive render region’ I guess. Would love to see something like that in future versions of UE!
Cheers!
I am waiting for this as well!
Same here. It would be nice to not only set the size of the rendering but also the origin, or center. This would help crop a lot context out, especially in architecture.
The image is from TM. I can tilt the camera and then fix it in a pixel warrior software, but there will be barrel distortions.
It would be cropping the upper right hand of the composition. That is what you can do with an optical tilt lens. Easy to do in several other software.
Hope here is a solution and I have missed it in the docs.
