Hello, I would like to request an official, native version of the Epic Games Launcher for Linux.
Currently, Linux users must rely on third-party workarounds like Lutris or Heroic Games Launcher, which, while functional, provide an inconsistent and often problematic experience. The Unreal Editor already has Linux support, and Valve’s Proton has shown that a massive library of Windows games can run flawlessly on Linux.
With the growing popularity of the Steam Deck and Linux desktops, a native launcher would open the Epic Games Store to a larger audience and provide a much better experience for developers who wish to use Linux for their work.
I believe this would be a valuable investment for Epic Games. Thank you for considering this feature.
