Can we see the estimated memory (the number the in game thermometer shows) inside the UEFN editor for devices?
Planning things out is a bit of a pain when you have to launch a game over 20 times just to see the thermometer for each device you are planning to use.
While in game and you place a device through the editor the thermometer will show a much smaller number than it should. So when you close fortnite and open it again there will be a new number that is much higher.
This means if I wanna see how much memory a device is taking I need to:
- Launch Fortnite, take note of the memory
- Close fortnite and place my device
- Launch Fortnite and check the base memory used by device
- Close fortnite and duplicate my device a couple of times
- Launch Fortnite and check how much memory an instance of the device takes
- Repeat the previous steps for every device I am planning to use in my map
