When reading UE4 documentation, there have been several times where I’ve come across documentation that was incomplete or inaccurate, and I’ve wanted to provide feedback to help out other developers like me. It would be great if there was a way to provide feedback on a documentation page in a way similar to the way that Microsoft does for MSDN.
For example, check out the “Feedback” section at the bottom of this page:
Notice that every single documentation page has a magical button you can click on to automatically generate an issue on GitHub that corresponds to that specific page, allowing anyone to provide feedback on any documentation that needs attention. I have found this to be invaluable because I can often suggest snippets or draw a technical writer’s attention to an article that is outdated. It would be great if UE could implement a similar pattern, as UE is already using GitHub for the engine itself!
