Hello Epic Games team,
I would like to request an “Invisible” mode, similar to Steam’s, that allows players to stay signed in and play online without showing their online status or game activity to friends.
I would like to choose when to share that I am online or playing. Sometimes I simply want to enjoy a game privately while keeping online gameplay and matchmaking fully functional.
Ideally, this feature would:
• Show my account as offline to friends while allowing me to play online.
• Hide my active game, lobby status, and match details.
• Work consistently across the Epic Games Launcher and Fortnite, so launching the game does not reveal my presence.
• Remember my preference between sessions and apply it before publishing my presence, avoiding briefly showing me as online when signing in.
It would also be helpful to manually select “Away” and keep that status until I choose to change it.
Could you please forward this suggestion to the team responsible for Epic’s social features and player privacy?
