The ImposterBaker plugin is an amazing tool introduced in Unreal Engine, while you can use the plugin in Unreal Engine, it can be difficult migrating assets over to Unreal Editor without getting a ton of errors. If ImposterBaker was built into Unreal Editor it would help creators optimize custom foliage that don’t have Billboards or 3d imposter LODs. This would benefit a lot of maps that want to take advantage of features like this and create amazing distant scenery/foliage.
