[FEATURE REQUEST] Disable Content Browser Auto Hide

While the ability to hide the Content Browser is awesome, auto-hiding when you drag one item out is not. While you can dock the Content Browser to the bottom, this is not nearly as convenient as if you could cmd+space to open, have it stay open, then cmd + space to close. Keep “Auto-Hide” as an option for people who prefer this work flow. Thank you for your consideration and UE5 is completely amazing!

This is the main reason why I still use the docked content browser, I wish there was an option to disable auto-hide!

I came to the forum to make exactly the same offer. I wanted to create a topic, but I found this one. I would like to raise this topic higher somehow. I love how everything is done in Unreal Engine. And the automatic hiding of panels is literally the only thing that annoys me in Unreal Engine.
I like to hide all the panels instead of keeping everything open to see the preview in a small window. But automatic hiding of panels in most cases does not help at all. When you drag an object onto the scene, why hide this panel? If I want to hide it, I’ll click “Content Explorer”. I have to open the content browser again and again for each object. The same thing happens with the Outliner and Details panels. I’d like to hide them when I want to do so, rather than double-clicking to open and then pin and then unpin and close again, unnecessary movements. And when, for example, I have details open, and I choose another object to configure something in detail, and the panel closes, my God, it’s so annoying.
Moreover, the details is automatically hidden even when the mouse scrolls through the details panel - this is definitely a bug that forces you to open the panel again and again. But the funny thing is that when automatic hiding of content browser could really come in handy - it doesn’t work)) When you want to drag the material into the material element window, and it is just below the content browser and the browser overlaps, then for some reason it does not hide. Or when dragging material onto an object in the scene, automatic hiding could be useful, because here you need to precisely point at the object or part of it. but no, it doesn’t work here))
But dock in layout and pinning looks like duct tape, why not just disable automatic hiding in the settings. I am waiting for this from version 5.0 early access I really hope that epics will add it as soon as possible. peace to all, Unreal is the best

I agree wholeheartedly, the auto hide messes me up so often!!!
