[Feature Request] Custom Default Comment Box Color

I would like to request that the Blueprint Editor section of the Editor Preferences contain new default settings:

  1. Default Comment Box Color

  2. Default Color Bubble

  3. [Optional but might as well do it if you’re going to do the above 2] Default Move Mode

I have a preferred comment box color (I find black comment boxes much clearer and cleaner) and I like the comment bubble to be colored, but I have to do this manually for every comment box I create and it’s just tedious. I’m sure many other people also prefer using other colors than the default white color and could benefit from this.

There was a request made for this on the UE4 repository: https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/commit/b4b1485891430c1c8cdab879da061afa7ebd65ac , but it’s quite old and seems to have gone unnoticed.

For anyone coming here in 5.1.1+, you can now set this:

  • Editor Preferences > Content Editors > Graph Editors > Node Title Colors > Default Comment Node Title Color
  • (or just search “comment” in Editor Preferences)

in 5.4 doesnt work. and if i change that what it changes its the comment bubble color, but the default color comment still gray color
