Hi. I worked with Unity for years and while UE4 is far more advanced in multiple areas, it truly lacks in some user-friendly features that makes it quite a pain.
First of all, a combined move/rotate/scale transform gizmo like the one in Unity, that greatly speed up level creation process. I know that a simplified version is available with preinstalled plugins, but it really can’t hold a candle to the one implemented in Unity.
Also, it would be great to level management to have the option to freely move elements in the map hierarchy (the world outliner), as the alphabetical sort may be confusing and unnecessary cumbersome time to time.
Is there any chance to see these improvements pushed in relatively short times? Still can’t understand as some obvious QoL features aren’t already in-engine by default…
