[Feature Request] allow VR controller tracking/inputs when running in non-VR pie modes

I have been using vive trackers for virtual production, vTubing and motion capture, and am finding it very hard to use OpenXR in 5.2. I was wondering if any of the following would be possible?

  1. Get motion controller tracked data when playing the game in viewport/new editor window/standalone game etc (right now it only seems to work when running in VR mode).
  2. Allow the VR controllers to fire inputs when playing the game in any non-VR play mode (currently this doesn’t seem to work with the standard input system or the enhanced input system.)
  3. Allow motion controllers to get tracked data when they are included in a non-pawn blueprint.

I feel like these changes would really help even for VR game development, as I often test systems out of the HMD, and use the debug pawn to fly around the scene when playing in selected viewport. Thanks so much!
