I have been using vive trackers for virtual production, vTubing and motion capture, and am finding it very hard to use OpenXR in 5.2. I was wondering if any of the following would be possible?
- Get motion controller tracked data when playing the game in viewport/new editor window/standalone game etc (right now it only seems to work when running in VR mode).
- Allow the VR controllers to fire inputs when playing the game in any non-VR play mode (currently this doesn’t seem to work with the standard input system or the enhanced input system.)
- Allow motion controllers to get tracked data when they are included in a non-pawn blueprint.
I feel like these changes would really help even for VR game development, as I often test systems out of the HMD, and use the debug pawn to fly around the scene when playing in selected viewport. Thanks so much!
