Feature Level Five Graphics Card Error

I tried posting this before, but I think it got caught in the spam filter, so here it goes again. I’ve installed the launcher on a VMWare workstation 15 running a windows 10 guest. When I try to launch UnrealEngine or Twinmotion, I get an error saying that I need a level 5 graphics card, but I’ve got a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile, and my directx version is 12. I’d love some help! Thanks in advance.

Your VM does not support Shader model 5.0 (aka DX11), make sure you configure it correcly

Thank you for your response! Sorry, I’m a bit confused by all this…don’t I have directx 12? And what do I need to configure correctly–and how?
