FCC issues final extension for video game CVAA accessibility waiver.

The video game exemption to the Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 is going to expire at the end of 2018. I don’t know how much this will affect indie games, or how one would go about proving to the FCC that it wouldn’t be feasible to implement (Is it based on company/individual gross? Number of employees?), but every American developer here should start looking into these requirements and the best way to implement for their own games.

Luckily the requirements don’t apply to the ENTIRE game, just any that deal with communications (chat, UI used to operate communications functionality).
