FBX Scene Import and FBX Import Options Parity

Problem:

I absolutely love the FBX Scene Import/Import to Level option in Unreal. It’s been extremely helpful in importing whole layouts from Maya. However, there’s a terrible bug when using it that static meshes will import into Unreal turned -90 on the X-Axis. If I’m importing an individual object, as opposed to a whole layout and scene via FBX, this is mitigated in standard FBX Import by being able to set import rotations in the import dialogue box. This option, however, is missing from the FBX Scene Import/Import to Level. This ends up resulting in hundreds of static meshes that are turned -90 on the X-Axis when importing FBXs exported out of Maya. Checking “Force Front X-Axis” does not fix this (it only adds -90 in the Z axis).

Solution Request:

Can we add the same options that appear in the standard individual FBX import (being able to set custom import rotations and translations) to the FBX Scene Import/Import to Level import dialogue boxes as well?

thanks,
