FBX import to twinmotion doesn´t work properly

I tried the new Interchange import feature for the FBX format from Rhino to Twinmotion. It doesn’t work. When I update the FBX file in Rhino and then update it in Twinmotion, some of the materials are incorrect or altered. This means that every time I make a change in Rhino, I have to check and correct the materials. This is really frustrating. I teach at a university. Last year, my students had major issues with the Datasmith Direct plugin: duplicate layers, materials overwritten. That’s why we switched to FBX this semester, hoping that everything would work properly now. I’d appreciate some feedback on the current status and future plans. Is the goal for FBX to become the preferred import format? Will the material-related bug be fixed?

Are the material not reimporting correctly, materials you modified in Twinmotion.

“One design change that was made in the material reimport logic is that if you assigned a new material to an imported object in Twinmotion, and the also assigned a new material to the same object in the DCC, after reimport, the Twinmotion material will be kept instead of applying the new DCC material.
There is a way to revert to the original DCC materials in the import item context menu if needed.”
