FBX import errors

I’ve just created a simple walking animation, but I am unable to import it into my game. When imported, the entire mesh has disappeared, but I believe this is due to me not deleting the non-deformers history in Maya. When attempted to delete non-deformers history my mesh gets deleted, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? I have hit a wall because of this. :frowning: I have included a few images that also tell me that the joints are too small, but whenever I attempt to resize the entire skeleton and mesh, the joints disappear. The only visible thing was imported is the transparent hair that I have created, but that’s it

I’m not completely sure if the non-deformers history is the reason why I’m having the problem, because it could be something else.

Here’s an image that will show you the non-deformer error.

Hi AkatoshReturns,

All I can tell by the posted images is that the “LeftHandPinky7” is too small and is not skinned to your mesh. To fix this, unbind the skin from the skeleton, select that joint in the Outliner and in the asset editor, scale it up.

Then follow the instructions in this video on how to delete the Non-deformer history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnPh1MN8Bq0

If you’re still having problems after that, you can provide your Maya file in a zipped format and attach it here, I’ll be happy to take a look.

-Thanks
