Every time my artist sends an FBX export, and I import it, the different materials swap between the various objects imported. If the object has a texture that it shouldn’t, and then we click it in the editor, it will switch back to normal.
Above is the bugged out texture, this chrome is swapped from a different object that’s placed in the same map.
And here is the same object right after I click it. For some reason the texture is back to what it should be.
We have never had this issue before; we don’t know what could be causing this. We need help on this desperately for our game jam, and we don’t have a clue what could be going on. We are very new at using Blender with Unreal, so any suggestions, tips, or help is very much appreciated.
