Hi guys
I’m trying to use/understand composure for weeks, and completely stuck up.
I have no programming/coding background, it’s my almost first time to use both Maya and UE4.
Before I make something my own, I’m working with some test shots (live action footage) and UE’s composure framworks template.
I’ve used Boujou5 and After effects to track camera, and import and export it to fbx via Maya 2018.
The problem is:
When I import fbx animation in sequencer to my cinecamera actor, it either don’t change its location and only shake at the same position, or moves but not align my current scene. It’s flipped to weird direction or located far far away from my scene.
In detail, I exported camera solve from Boujou and opened it with Maya, make motion trail, and then export it as fbx.
Do I need to bake the animation separately? Or a scale setting from Boujou would be the one causes problem?
In AE, I simply 3D tracked the footage and export it for Maya through good old AE3D script with scale 1:
What is best way to make live action tracking animation for my camera? I’m up to any other tools than I’ve used.
