FBX animation inside unreal is not following the parents location


I am very new to 3d software and i am currently using Maya for my FBX creations.

My problem lies to the fact that the imported fbx is not the same (regarding the animation) as the one inside Maya or the free previewer from autodesk.

I have created a butterfly. It has a body and 2 child wings that flap and follow the movement of the body that is going up and down.

Inside unreal , it flaps just fine but the wings are a few cm away from the body and they do not follow the body’s up and down movement even though they are child’s of the main body.

Any ideas why is this happening?
